The Cabinet, during its meeting on 28 April 2020, approved the extension of the period of emergency situation declaration in all areas of the Kingdom for one more month, from 1 to 31 May 2020.

The emergency situation declaration was issued on 25 March 2020, in accordance with the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situation B.E. 2548 (2005), and it took effect from 26 March to 30 April 2020.

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha stated that the extension was necessary to effectively control the COVID-19 infection, which was still serious in many countries. Several measures and regulations will remain in place, such as the closure of points of entry into the Kingdom and nationwide curfew from 22.00 to 04.00 hr.

People have still been urged to avoid unnecessary travel between provinces. They are prohibited from entering areas or places that are risk-prone to the infection of COVID-19. Large public gatherings are not allowed. The public has also been urged to still practice physical distancing.

In the next step, some restrictions will be gradually relaxed in four stages every 14 days. Emphasis is placed on activities necessary for the daily life of the people, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Public Health.

At the same meeting, the Cabinet did not cancel four public holidays in May – Labor Day on 1 May, Coronation Day on 4 May, Visakha Puja Day (Day of Vesak) on 6 May, and Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day on 11 May.

We apologize for all the current adjustments that take place around the world right now.

Therefore we are here for you if you need some clarification.

If there is a certain ambiguity of understanding, feel free to call us or mail us and we will do our best to clarify for you.

This latest decision is basically 2 things that need to be done if you plan to enter Thailand.

1. You need to make a test in the right span of time.
2. You must have a insurance that covers the specific amount.
Please read on the attached image on this post.

We got many calls and emails from worried people that are in a Catch-22 moment because their country only test people with symptoms. We are sorry for that and we recommend that you check what is relevant for your country.

The border at Ranong is close from today and we will update through our communication channels as soon they will open again.

One solution for you can be to visit your local immigration office and apply for 30 days extension. You need to have a letter from your embassy. If you need assistance, call us or visit us on our office.

We understand that this is a complicated situation for many of our customers and therefore you are very welcome to visit us or call us if something is unclear.

We are listening to the official channels and have contact with our 3rd part partners outside Thailand, so we can stay updated.  We will use our Facebook and homepage  to post the most recent updates.

The bottom line is that all of our services can not be executed for the moment as a result of all lockdowns.  We are even looking into if there are some solutions for the different visa-holders.

“The Malaysian PM has announced this morning that Malaysia will be under a state of total lockdown from the 18th to 31st of March.”

This will affect our visa runs to Penang and Satun for at least that mentioned time,  so we are contacting all of our customers that have bookings on the affected dates.
We will refund with full amount.

We are very sorry for this information and we truly understand this can be more or less devastated for some of you and we are evaluating every individual booking to see if there is some alternatives we can assist you with.

This only affects the Penang and Satun visa runs.
The trips to Ranong and Andaman Club is NOT cancelled and will proceed as normal as far as we know.
Please follow our social media chanels for realtime information although we will contact any affected customers by phone or mail.

You are very welcome to contact us if you have any questions.
Our telephone lines may be busy periodically during the afternoon, so try again or you can send us a message on our Facebook group or mail us and we will get back to you.
